AHope

Today was tiresome but good. I watched as Katie read the story "For God so loved the world" to the children of Ahope. These children are of all different backgrounds. They are Muslim, Ethiopian orthodox, and Ethiopian Evangelical but they have one thing in common....HIV. We did a craft with them and had a snack. Later we went over to the compound for the older children 8 and up and hosted an ice cream party for them. Katie handed out little airplanes and stickers and they played hapily... It was fun to watch.
Im ready to come home, but if I didn't have family at home that I am missing, I could easily stay here a while longer. The people are truly beautiful and so kind.
