We made it!

Well, we made it. After figuring out that we were going to make all our flights after all, it was a smooth but long trip. The airport in Germany is a little crazy and hard to navigate and we actually stopped for refuelling in Khartoum, Sudan. We landed right next to the Nile. As the plane was coming down for a landing it looked super smoggy. (Like LA or China) But the men behind us mentioned that it was actually a sand storm. Katie tried to get a pic of the Nile as we took again. Dont know if it will be real clear.

Katie -
I saw the world today! From frozen Canadian tundra to pretty German towns to Egyption deserts.. It was a looong trip without much sleep but we're here at our guest house now. We got here after dark so I haven't been able to see much yet... except sheep. They're all over the streets because tomorrow is their Easter and they're selling them for slaughter. We get to go to our orphanage for the first time tomorrow and meet the kids. I'm excited.
